Hallertau Tradition was bred to retain the noble qualities of Hallertau Mittelfruh but with better yields and disease resistance. Like Mittelfruh, Tradition's flavour and aroma are spicey and floral. It is a "typical" hop for most German styles including wheat beers, Bavarian lagers, German pilsners etc. It is also used in many international or pale lager beers, and pale Belgian ales.
